Location: Mount Airy Middle School is located directly beside the H.B. Rowe Environmental Park which was created in 2010 by Mount Airy Parks and Recreation on Hamburg Street. In addition there is a bridge which connects the environmental park to the campus, with a bus-parking area to allow access by other students in the area.
The site which Mount Airy Middle School was built was originally Brower Mills founded by Jacob Brower, 1841. The granite bridge which is located on the school property is the only remaining structure from that Brower Mills complex.
